Working in conjunction with the local design teams and flow/technology departments, the Staff Design Application Engineer will identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete internal customer (IT, CAD and technology departments) satisfaction through all stages of the development process. He will also offer 1 st and 2 nd level support on UNIX environment, analog and digital flows, ICs tools and technology.

In your new role you will:
  • Create, configure and maintain UNIX project accounts - add or remove technology libraries, IP libraries, developers or support members;
  • Learn and understand the design flows in order to be able to support designers to use it, follow it or to debug it;
  • Offer 1 st level IT support regarding UNIX related issues: quota issues, file recovery, data exchanging between projects, LSF support, data management usage support, licenses usage support, general UNIX support.

You'll be a better fit if you have:
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field;
  • At least 3 years of experience with UNIX environment supporting on tool related tasks;
  • Experience with IC Design tools would be a plus;
  • Good programming and scripting skills;
  • Fluency in English.
