We have an exciting opportunity for a Safe Scouting Admin to join our team based in Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (with remote working). We will offer you a competitive salary of £22,688 per annum, Band B, Level 3 inclusive outer London weighting plus benefits. The Safe Scouting Admin Role: As our Safe Scouting Admin, you will provide a first class, customer focused, administrative service to support the Movement, through the services provided through the Safe Scouting Team, as well as contributing to the monitoring of customer/member satisfaction and assist in making changes to the service to ensure continuing satisfaction while providing excellent customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities as our Safe Scouting Admin: Provide administrative support to the Safe Scouting Team, including disclosure processes Production of management information Use Microsoft Office and other applications to prepare, write and send letters and emails internally and externally Provide excellent customer service Contribute to the monitoring of customer/member satisfaction and to assist in making changes to the service to ensure continuing satisfaction Ensure the maintenance of confidentiality Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Safe Scouting Team Co-ordinator and/or the Safe Scouting management team commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the job What we are looking for in our Safe Scouting Admin: Knowledge of the Scout Movement Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work on own initiative Attention to detail and accuracy Have some knowledge of Safeguarding Processes Excellent customer service skills Work systematically and accurately in a busy environment Manage a diverse workload and achieve targets and deadlines that are set Have experience of using a variety of Microsoft Office applications to a high standard Have experience of working in a fast-paced, confidential environment Experience of using case management systems and bespoke software What we can offer you as our Safe Scouting Admin: 25 days holiday and going up to 28 days after 2 years service and 32 days after 5 years service Additional holidays between Christmas & New Year Life Assurance Simply Health Scheme Generous Pension Scheme Free car parking We are proud to be a family-friendly employer and offer Up to four personal days paid leave a year Maternity/Paternity Leave Childcare Vouchers Flexible working hours Store Discount at our Scout Store + other online benefits Study and volunteer leave Closing date: Monday, 19th September 2022 at 09:00 Don t miss out on the opportunity to join our fantastic team!
