Orgill is seeking an experienced Retail Technology Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, direction, and coordination of Retail Technology projects from initiation through implementation. This also includes working with business analysts and subject-matter experts in gathering requirements, coordinating projects, and rolling out solutions to end users. The Retail Technology Project Manager will be an integral part of a cross-functional Tech team, and will work with business partners to determine and translate business requirements into robust technology solutions.

Primary Duties
  • Work with the Program Director of Retail & eCommerce, the application development staff, vendor partners, and business end users to coordinate the creation, management, and rollout of retail technology solutions.
  • Gather and manage requirements, and track issues in appropriate systems.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, documentation, change requests, risks, and issues to ensure maximum business benefit is maintained.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, development staff, and subject-matter experts to develop summary and detailed project plans to ensure the scope and approach are fully understood by all project participants.
  • Ensure all systems of record for project reporting are kept current, and direct and monitor teams efforts on a regular basis.
  • Validate development estimates and actively seek clarification and verification as appropriate.
  • Accurately reflect project budgets within project and issue tracking tools.
  • Identify, track, measure, and report key project milestones.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, including expenses, forecasts, schedules, and risk/issue assessments.
  • Negotiate financial and people resources for the project team to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the course of the project life cycle.
  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience.
  • Track record of successfully implemented and deployed large scale projects as a project manager in a technical area.
  • Proven ability to effectively build relationships and achieve alignment across a wide range of functions and constituents.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Possess a sound grasp of the key business drivers.
  • Conversant and practiced in up-to-date Project Management Life Cycle methods and frameworks.
  • Experienced with Jira / Confluence, WorkFront or similar project tracking tools.
Helpful Skills and Experience
  • WorkFront, Primavera, Microsoft Project experience
  • Experience in Wholesale, Retail, and/or Distribution Warehousing
