ABOUT US The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity. We want to see a world where trees and woods thrive for people and nature. The Trust engages and inspires people to make their difference tackling the nature and climate crisis helping protect, restore and create our vital woods and trees. THE ROLE You will lead our administration team on the delivery of our Free Trees for Schools and Communities scheme, through which we currently plant over 1 million trees each year. You will oversee the management of applications to the scheme, to ensure high quality outcomes for the thousands of organisations who take part each year. You will be supporting the team and the Trust to continually improve and grow the scheme in order to maximise engagement, impact and outcomes. THE CANDIDATE Being an excellent organiser with the ability to prioritise workloads in order to meet targets and deadlines is essential. You'll be a strong communicator, managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. You'll be confident in handling data, and competent using IT systems, particularly CRM database and MS office applications. A basic understanding of woodland creation would be desirable.
