Position : Junior Sous Chef


• Work with Head Chef to plan and direct food preparation

• Ensure consistent food standards in a fast-paced environment

• Dealing with suppliers and ensuring food cost targets are achieved

• Minimise wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items

• Assist in development of food menu

• Ensure kitchen is kept clean and exceeds food safety standards

• Manage kitchen team including engaging in training, ensuring compliance with SOP, boosting staff morale, resolving conflicts, taking disciplinary actions etc

• Manage and organise daily restaurant operations, including managing costs, manpower planning, inventory control etc


• At least 3 years of fine dining kitchen management experience

• Prior experience in Kosher cuisine is advantageous

• Must be able to rotate day and night shifts

• Must have hunger for knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Exhibit strong leadership skills

• Attention to detail with highly developed palette

• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment


• Working Hours: 5-day work week
