This is a really exciting opportunity for an ambitious digital operations marketer to join a friendly, collaborative marketing team within a successful B2B business with a global audience and client base who also have global events. This new role is full-time and remote working - ideally you should be able to visit their Bath office once a month (once a week if local). Benefits of the role: Fast-growing B2B company. Working across different departments including sales, events, editorial and research. Working as part of a marketing team of 10 people, opportunities to develop and take on key responsibilities. Strong company purpose The role: A newly created role to ensure marketing operations processes are reviewed, optimised, implemented and followed as the marketing team and wider business enter a new period of growth. Working closely with and supporting the customer data and performance manager and marketing team leads, you will implement best practices, and streamline and automate key processes, improving team efficiency and allowing other marketing team members to focus on adding creative value. Owning the management and development of marketing operational frameworks, you will drive impactful change and enable growth by engaging, informing and influencing team members, wider business stakeholders, and external system/software suppliers on projects, processes and software implementation. Job functions and responsibilities Responsible for the daily marketing operational processes and procedures, as well as systems and infrastructure. Enhance department efficiency and productivity by helping to streamline and automate key marketing processes, including lead gen & pipeline, segmentation & targeting, and nurturing & onboarding. Drive value, promote and give training on marketing systems/tools/software that optimise and maximise productivity across the business such as CDP, CMS, CRM, EMS. Identify bottlenecks to growth and work to remove those roadblocks. Manage lead generation and pipeline optimization. Implement an accurate tracking, attribution and reporting framework to support marketing activities and proactively identify trends and reasons for performance. Suggest strategies and solutions for untapped areas of marketing investment, to help lead the continual evolution and scaling of our marketing org and strategy. Maximise use of customer data to identify audiences and segments for our event and membership campaigns. Ensure the website and customer platforms are fully optimised for SEO and lead conversion. Manage and work on additional marketing campaigns and projects around the company including new product testing and launching. Train all relevant staff on operational procedures and marketing software when they join, take on new responsibilities, and/or when process changes are made. Skills and experience At least 5 years (ideally but will look at a strong marketing operations executive looking to step up) demonstrable marketing experience working in a similar role within a digital marketing team preferably within B2B and supported by a relevant degree or diploma. Strong experience in operations and digital marketing Practical experience using CRM, CMS and marketing systems plus experience in building, implementing and embedding workflow management systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Interest in circular economy and sustainability is a bonus.
