Responsibilities
In your new role, you will ensure functional safety according to ISO 26262 for Sense and Control. Thereby, you will:
  • Act as auditor or assessor in product audits or assessments for components which are developed in accordance to above mentioned standard
  • Advise and guide colleagues with your expertise in developing safety concepts
  • Ensure that reviews of the management plans are in line with the standard and Infineon requirements
  • Confirm that the tailoring of the product development processes is compliant to the requirements
  • Guide projects to conformity with respect to the relevant standard and approve the final compliance
  • Create the safety case based on assessments, audits and inputs from safety activities

Your Profile
As Manager Functional Safety Quality Management - Sense and Control you work on making things better and more efficient while supporting your team in continuously striving for the global goal of "zero-defect". In order to reach best results, you cooperate across boundaries, recognize and use different areas of expertise of your team members and align their different points of view. Furthermore, while managing your performance consistently and reliably, you identify opportunities and you have a great sense for profitable business ideas, which you drive within the team.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A degree in Electronical Engineering, Physics or a similar field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience within the field of functional safety (ISO 26262) as well as first experience in ASPICE and a strong interest to develop yourself further within this field
  • Profound experience in automotive applications, experience in the semiconductor industry and the R&D field (in particular IC Development) would be a great asset
  • Excellent moderation and negotiation skills as well as experience in addressing and driving topics within cross-functional teams
  • A systematic approach to analyze safety of products as well as good understanding of confirmation methods, including audit and assessment
  • Fluent English language skills
