Success Recruit are currently working with a well-established construction business that are seeking to recruit an IT Manager to support on all levels across four sites in the London and Essex area. The successful IT Manager will be integral in managing the companies Infrastructure and offering adaptions for change managing the IT support solely for the business. You will look to improve the companies security as well as support staff on all levels of IT support so a friendly and personable approach is essential to build rapport on all levels with staff. The successful IT Manager will be expected to: Relevant IT industry qualifications preferrable Have managed IT within a business for at least 5 years Have successfully upgraded systems, supported with fire walls and migration projects Experience with Microsoft Suite including office 365 The successful IT Manager will be rewarded with: The opportunity to join an established business and work in a standalone position Working within a professional corporate, friendly and relaxed working environment Job Description The objective of the IT Manager is to spearhead IT developments & support for the company in line with the strategic goals and help achieve competitive advantage through the implementation and improvement of technology along the way. Duties to include but not limited to: Fix all reported issues, 1st / 2nd / 3rd line in a timely manner for up to 100 employees IT management & supporting with ways to improve latest technology Manage IT budget, procurement of IT, license and contract management Windows server management / Firewall configuration and management Maintain and update various software programmes used Maintain user accounts on various systems Maintain good overall health of the organisation s IT infrastructure and will be at the front of IT innovation in line with business goals This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work closely with a forward thinking management team and can offer scope to create a successful position that will allow the successful IT Manager autonomy. It will suit an experienced IT Manager who thrives supporting employees with the day to day issues that arise to the more technical problems and supporting with ad hoc IT projects as well.
