Wise Employment are recruiting for Telephone Debt and Energy Advisors for an expanding, well-established, friendly Advisor company. This is a Hybrid working role with excellent training and working environment for candidates looking to utilise their skills to help people with Debt, Energy, and money worries. The position is a full-time permanent role, and working hours are 9 am - 5 pm and an early finish of 4.30 pm on a Friday. Salary - £22,036 - £25,085K per annum - Benefits include flexible working,4% pension contributions, Health Assurance schemes, excellent training, Christmas parties, and company away days. What will your day look like? In this position, we will provide you with six weeks of extensive training in the Plymouth office, then having the flexibility of a Hybrid working option so you feel comfortable within the role (with a minimum of 4 days a month in branch). You will advise clients with excellent customer service on their Debt & energy issues through a minimum of 11 advice appointments per week over the phone and sometimes face to face (when in the office), helping people find solutions to their problems. This is a fast-paced and target-driven environment, so each day isn't the same, no two calls or days being the same. The advice you will provide will be sustainable budgeting, income maximization, and money management over the phone. You will then assess the client's household income and give the client up-to-date advice on energy tariffs. Due to the nature of this role, the right candidate will need to have excellent communication and be observant to identify and safeguard vulnerable clients and follow the correct safeguarding procedures. This role will also involve Research campaigns, Admin tasks, professional development, and taking ownership of your position with action for issues and problems. You will be provided with monthly one-to-ones focused on your well-being, performance, and career plans through a dedicated Learning and development team, as well as access to a range of online courses to develop skills both on the job and transferable. About you: A proven client-focused approach to supporting people from a wide variety of backgrounds, with challenging and emotional situations with always treating people with dignity and respect. Excellent Administration skills, good prioritization, and time management to work effectively with appointments and within a team. You will need to have experience in some debt and energy advice knowledge and some knowledge of the current systems. Personable traits: This role requires a non-judgmental approach with a warm and friendly manner. Good written and verbal communication is essential for this role to relay information. Ability to meet targets and deadlines Previous work advisory is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
