We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager for a fixed term contract to support a large office relocation in Newcastle upon Tyne. We anticipate the contract length up to six months. This company employ office based and hybrid professionals working within a modern high-tech environment, you will have experience of similar corporate relocations. ROLE OUTLINE Maintain up to date plans of office space and layout Produce reports to enable the accurate recharging/ allocation of space Monitor and input to future space and premises strategies Coordinate fit out proposals and guidelines using existing inventory database Manage the local and operational Newcastle office moves Coordinate with maintenance and IT teams regarding office construction/ changes Maintain updated moves information Ensure the placement of furniture and equipment meets the firm's H&S policies Coordinating agile working, facilitating hot desking and hybrid meetings and events. Manage accurate equipment and asset inventories Manage storage facilities of furniture assets Coordinate and supervise contractors/consultants in the relocation of assets Managing of health and safety requirements and equipment Managing PAT testing requirements for the office In addition, you will take ownership of generalised office management responsibilities such as managing budgets, support the management team with wider administrative tasks. REQUIRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND Experience managing an office relocation Facilities management experience Operational budgeting Planning for business continuity Project management skills Asset management tracking software User of CAD (for plan layouts) Strong organisational skills Current and future office locations are on the metro routes and relocation is to central Newcastle.
