Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Permanent Salary: up to £40,000 (qualifications and experience dependant) Curriculum Team Leader Additional £1800 per annum The College is excited to share that we will be delivering the new T-Level Engineering qualification, we are looking for someone who likes a challenge and who can bring industry experience into the classroom. The successful candidate will join us on an exciting journey to deliver on our new T Levels as well AME2, AME3, HNC,HND programmes (Apprenticeship and Higher Education). We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team in the department of Health, Science and Engineering, the Curriculum Team Leader will update the line manager on operational procedures and will track and monitor student progress as well lead on IQA, processes, self-assessments and carry out audits This exciting role comes with an £1800 salary uplift and 4.5hrs remission per week. A full description of the role is included in the job description. We are looking for delivery expertise in a range of Engineering provision including apprenticeships. The successful candidate would be competent and demonstrate expertise and knowledge in the following areas. Engineering Mathematics and Engineering Principles Electrical, Electronic and Digital Principles - Electrical networks including three-phase theory - Use appropriate laboratory and computer simulation techniques to investigate circuits Programmable Logic Controllers A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate You would possess an innovative approach to teaching practical and theory leading to a high-quality learning experience for students on our successful engineering provision. As part of a successful team, you will want to provide inspirational teaching that would develop engineering skills and knowledge in our learners. In essence, the ability to set challenging targets that promotes learner success is essential to this role.
