Platform Resourcing are currently working in partnership with an Insurance Provider who have offices based in SA7, Llansamlet, Swansea. Due to success and growth within the business, they are now seeking a Customer Service Advisor and Administrator to join the team. There are a number of opportunities available due to internal growth and movement, so this is a great opportunity to join a fast paced and successful team. This role will sit within the claims department, offering a fast paced and varied environment with the opportunity to speak to customers to discuss claim circumstances, use case law and evidence to make a decision on which party is responsible. No two claims are the same and you will have ongoing training and learning opportunities to set you up for success within a company which offers plenty of development opportunities. We are looking for candidates with great customer service and admin experience, and even law students or legal assistants looking to start their career within insurance! Whether you are a graduate seeking their first role within insurance, or you are an experienced customer service advisor, there are many career paths available for you! Benefits for the Customer Service Advisor and Administrator Salary of up to £22,000 dependant on experience 6% yearly bonus potential Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 2 shifts at 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm, one shift at 11am - 8pm per week and 1 in 4 Saturdays from home 9am - 2pm Remote working opportunities for 2 days a week High Street Discounts 3% pension employee, 7% employer contribution Private Health Insurance Duties and Responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor and Administrator Speaking to customers and ensuring clear and open communication throughout the claims process Establishing the circumstances of a claim and making the appropriate enquiries to ensure an understanding of the situation Gathering evidence and using case law to establish liability Negotiating the settlement of claims in an efficient and economical manner Building a knowledge of our products and services to become an expert in your field Acting as a key liaison between the business and our customers providing regularly updates on every stage of the process Essential experience for the Customer Service Advisor and Administrator position Experience of working in a legal environment is beneficial but not a requirement Degree graduate or equivalent is desired but not essential Telephone based customer service skills and ability to provide excellent service Ability to review information to make impartial decisions Great administration skills Empathetic to all customers If this sounds like the ideal role for you, please send your CV immediately.
