Compliance Manager (full or part time) - Portsmouth

Working directly for TC Group's Head of Compliance, we have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager in our Portsmouth office either on a full time or part time basis with the option of flexible working from home.
As a Compliance Manager, you will support the Head of Compliance to ensure that the group meets its regulatory and quality obligations.

Key responsibilities and requirements of the role:
You will act as first point of contact for all compliance queries and will be responsible for monitoring AML, audit and client money compliance, and preparing regulatory notifications as well as a wide range of other activities, ideally including accounts preparation file reviews. In addition, there will be involvement in due diligence on future acquisitions and other ad-hoc project work. The wide variety of work means that there will be lots of opportunity to interact with many members of the TC team, as well as our partners across the group.
To be considered for the role of Compliance Manager, you will ideally be a qualified accountant, with statutory accounts audit experience and an accountancy practice background. Previous experience in a compliance role is not essential as long as you have a good understanding of AML requirements, and awareness of the quality standards which an accountancy firm is expected to follow.
You should be proficient in MS Office / highly PC literate, along with superb attention to detail, high level of organisation, strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multitask.
