Business Operations Co-ordinator

A vacancy is now available for someone to to apply their expertise to contribute to the successful operations of our Trials Test & Evaluation (TT&E) Sub Function.

Location - Reading area

Package - £33,300 - £49,950 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

The successful candidate will be providing business management expertise to TT&E as well as working closely with other Sub Function business management, to ensure that business operations processes are in line with the Science & Engineering Functions. Maintaining & supplying data that is current and effective.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Managing Apprentice deployment, development & mentoring within the TT&E environment.

  • Support accountability for the Baseline Roles and succession planning within the teams.

  • Maintain a full and accurate account for the Recruitment and Staff workbooks.

  • Provide recruitment support to Team & Group Leaders.

  • Provide support across the TT&E sub function by co-ordinating and supporting the processes of the Business Cell.

  • Create, develop and produce fresh data sets at function and sub-function.

  • Co-ordinate and attend sub-function business Governance meetings, including management boards.

  • To act as a focal point for key stakeholders in the management of business governance and capability management.

  • Work with service providers and customers to maintain service level agreements/ customer relationship metrics.

  • Proactively work with stakeholders to support service level agreements - seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Maintain configuration and control of process with quality weekly/monthly reports utilised for business and function management.

What will you need to be considered?

  • To support the Business team in ensuring that the capability and governance requirements are delivered.

  • Production of governance metrics and supply of management information.

  • Organise and manage capability plans and updates to support business drivers.

  • Active participation in capability management work streams and projects on behalf of the function ensuring effective communication.

  • Provide support to your line manager to ensure effective Resource Balancing (Supply v Demand) and resource strategy.

  • Develop, deliver and maintain systems required to support the function/sub-function.

  • Embed Site value stream thinking through the implementation of consistent processes and ways of working.

  • The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
