This well-established consultancy provide specialist solutions for building acoustics, sustainability and energy efficiency. The company are currently thriving and their Energy division has seen great success in recent years, winning high value projects due to their unique approach to sustainable designs. As a result, the team have strong goals moving forward and are going through an exciting period of growth in the Energy division.

In this role, the Building Physics Consultant will be responsible for creating bespoke solutions for low carbon building designs. This will involve managing projects, attending design meetings, thermal modelling, writing reports and fee proposals, integration with internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building physics and excellent knowledge of thermal modelling using IES/TAS software. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental design or similar, and have good communication and report writing ability.

The Role: Creating solutions for low carbon building designs Managing projects Attending design team meetings Thermal modelling (daylight, ventilation/overheating, energy) Writing reports and fee proposals Integrating with the acoustics team Carry out marketing with CPDs and workshops with architects and contractors Hybrid / home-working options available

The Person: Strong experience in Building Physics Degree Level in Environmental Design or similar Experience of using IES/TAS software Good communication and ability to write reports Full UK Driving License
