40 hours per week - Monto Friday 8-4pm (for first 6 months)
(5 shifts a week 1 dayCollege release per week - paid)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Apprentice Pastry Chef to join the team of one of our iconic Mayfair Restaurants - SexyFish London, part of Caprice Restaurants. We can provide you with thefoundations that you need to reach for the Michelin Stars.

Chef Director, BjoernWeissgerber is a true master of his art. A perfectionist, this eccentricGerman-Swede has trained with some of the greats in the industry. Awarded aMichelin star at 27 when he was running Ca's Puers in Mallorca in 2002,Bjoern's experience is vast, diverse and led him to us at Sexy Fish.
Leading a team of 54, hisethos is simple. As a man who loves to eat, he believes in creating healthyfood that tastes good and looks Sexy. He strives for balance and perfection inhis flavours, textures and ingredients.
We are proud to be partneredwith Westminster Kingsway College, which in May 2022 has been named as one ofthe top five culinary schools in the world to gain the skills and technicalexpertise needed to become a chef. The college was recognised alongside otherillustrious institutions, namely the Culinary Institute of America in theUnited States, Le Cordon Bleu in France, Apicius in Italy and the Business andHotel Management School, Switzerland.
As an Apprentice Pastrychef, you will attend College one dayper week and the other 4 days of the week you will be an integral part of theKitchen team, learning how the kitchen runs, working in your section keeping itclean and tidy, and efficiently carrying out the orders and specifications setby the Chef de Partie or senior chef. You will help produce high quality dishes from scratch whilstmaintaining the high standards and expectations of the restaurant. You willlearn from highly experienced, passionate chefs, work with amazing product andbe taken on apprentice 'trips'
Throughout your apprenticeship you will be working with the finestingredients and will be mentored by your Chef to develop your skills andexperience. This role could lead into afull time Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie position at one of Caprice's Restaurants.

Work 5 Shifts aweek - Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm for the first 6 months (1 of those days is atcollege with is also paid for)
