The Administrator will support the SWS/PTS business through the provision of high quality general administrative duties. Murphy & Sons Online Recruitment Event. What you will be doing: Welcome visitors and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure visitors are logged via Reception / Security to maintain an accurate record at all times of visitors to the building. Manage site indications for new starters and visitors Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters in conjunction with the SHQE department to include inductions and updating bulletin boards and distribution of any relevant information. Carry out weekly fire alarm testing and reports. Maintain accurate paper and computer-based records. Collate data from weekly / Monthly reports and record documentation in accordance with procedures and process including Power Bi. Conduct financial duties, for example, subsistence, processing invoices or tracking costs. Order and maintain stationery and equipment supplies. Liaise with facilities for any remedial / maintenance work Set up and oversee Meeting room diary, ensure all requirements such as IT, lunches etc are delivered as requested, ensuring company and legislative health and hygiene standards and requirements are always complied with in providing food and drink. Inspect and ensure communal areas and meeting rooms are tidy, equipment is inspected regularly to meet with legislative/manufacturers recommendations and requirements Arrange accommodation and travel as requested for on- and off-site personnel. Assist with training requirements, update certification and compliance on all personnel. Communicate any relevant information from company news weekly briefs and meetings as requested. Process post and sign for all deliveries, other than those for the IT department and either distribute as appropriate or inform the relevant individual or department of the delivery Who we are looking for: Successful experience of working in a general administration role and/or in a customer services environment. Knowledge of operating office equipment and IT, e.g. telephone, computer with standard software, fax, copier, printers etc., to access, input and verify information.MS package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project) Literate and Numerate with proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications. Previous experience within a Civil Engineering or Construction environment advantageous.
